Disney Junior - TV & Games App Reviews

I used to love this app...my kids would happily watch whatever episodes were available of their favorite shows. We have basic cable, but not the expanded package, so having the app worked great for us. However, the recent update is just plain mean... my kids got so excited to see how many "new" episodes just randomly showed up one day, only to find that the majority of them were locked, and in order to unlock them, we would need to subscribe to the expanded cable package. Since we do have a tv provider, I tried my login information, which seemed to remove the keys from the locked episodes, only to have an error message appear that said we werent authorized. If youre going to post an episode on this app, then it should be available to everyone. My 2-year-old doesnt know what the little key means and cant tell which one is going to work when she clicks on it. We love the Disney Jr shows, Im just not a fan of the new update.

POS app, killed my iPhone battery over night. Was wondering why my phone was barely charging all day, thought something was wrong with my charger. Then I looked at my phone this morning before the alarm went off and my phone was dead! Does Disney offer a battery replacement service or something? It used 79% of my battery the last 24hours, 1 min on screen, 10.2 hours background activity.

So sad. I downloaded this for my son and it worked fine for a few days. After the new update I provided my cable provider information and none of the episodes play. Theres an error message every time I want to play an episode. Please fix this!!

We loved this app for my 2 year old daughter. She could watch all of her favorite Disney characters anytime she wanted, but now after the recent update, she cant watch any of them because we dont have cable TV. You try explaining to a 2 year old why all of the sudden her favorite Mickey and Minnie shows are not working anymore, so far all I have gotten is big sad tears and frustration! Ive already deleted the app to avoid the tantrums. Good thing the Nick Jr app is still reliable!

Seriously, how many times does a person have to re-authenticate? Every time my child wants to use the app?!? This is ridiculous! Spend more time developing good apps and less time making sure I have been authenticated for the fiftieth time and had my pocket picked by the three-fingered mouse!

Why is the theme music so horrendously loud, especially when compared to actual episode volume? Get rid of it, make it a lot quieter, or allow the option to turn if off. Pretty ridiculous...

Really? Every episode is now locked unless I subscribe to cable? We dont have a cable provider! Neither do my sisters, my in laws, my neighbor, or any of my friends. The way things are with online streaming nowadays I dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to watch tv. Im extremely disappointed that Disney Jr is now requiring me to have a cable a subscription. App users beware! "Bug fixes" with the new update= locked episodes. Not cool.

What happened to Minnies Bubble Trouble game? My daughter loved it and now wants nothing to do with it because you guys deleted it from the app. Bring it back and youll get 5 stars. Dont fix whats not broken!

This app used to be great, my lil ones love Mickey and Minnie. The new update is Seriously Awful!!! Why would you lock all of the episodes on MMCH??!!!!!! Extremely disappointed. If they didnt have deceiving update comments (did more than just "bug fixes") I wouldnt have updated it to this version!!

This app is extremely hard to get connected to my cable provider, it constantly re directs me to a different screen, so we cant even watch episodes, lets hope nick jr is better!

If you are going to not come to an agreement with my service provider, then you need to make it so that only unlocked episodes show when you are not signed in. Getting tired of having to constantly close out of the sign in screen from my daughter trying to watch videos that she cant, even though we subscribe to cable. Looks like this app is going to be deleted. At least Nick Jr. got it right.

I got this app for my Apple TV, my son loves Mickey. But it constantly crashes! The live stream almost never works. The only way to insure full functionality is to reboot the whole system. I even thought it was a problem with my Apple TV unit! Busy sadly no its this lame out of date crashing app. HEY DISNEY!!! why not spend some of that star wars money on some upgrades and tech support!!!!

This app worked great up until about a month ago. Now it will not load and comes up with an error message, Ive tried logging in and out with my tv provider. That hasnt helped. It also wont work on the Apple TV.

It is fun but the internet is bad it will freeze and and the beginning screen would not change

I have tried to run on my firestick, chromecast, & smart tv and none of them work. After about two minutes it just loads like theres no wifi. I have an extremely strong signal and watch 4K content all the time so its definitely the app, and not my configuration

Buggy. The app freezes constantly and signs you out from time to time. Get it together Disney!

This app is a waste of time. Keeps exiting on the app. Once we get to at least click on something it doesnt work. Needs to be fixed its been months with this going on. Eventually Disney Junior is going to loose fans.

Please make us be Able to watch more episodes without getting the golden ? (but other than that its ?)

Do not get this app.?

Please fix it logging out and back in to tv provider does not work. Asap my child is upset. Thanks
